In October 2010 the cruise company ordered another two innovative cruise ships from MEYER WERFT, continuing the prosperous cooperation from the previous projects.
The two next-generation cruise ships tailored to NCL's freestyle cruising concept will be delivered in the spring of 2013 and 2014. Each of the 143,500-gt ships will have a capacity of more than 4,000 passengers, and will offer a broad range of different cabin types. The ships will be the biggest cruise ships ever built in Germany

Where the hoot are they going to sail from? As the industry discount like heck to shift cabins this summer, it appears NCL has a crystal ball for financial recovery in 2013 / 2014 that will add 8,000 passengers in some Geo.
Interesting news Malcolm / Tuggy.
Do you reckon they'll have this Saturday's lotto numbers? ;-)

Grant, If you look at the Meyer Werft List, Sunshine 1 & 2 are two new Royal Caribbean ships, each 4,100-passenger, 158,000-ton ships with an expected delivery of 2014 and 2015.
Interestingly both NCL are RCI are building slightly smaller ships than Oasis/Allure and Epic, respectively. (But Not small as such!)

We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.
