is it worth booking at the last minute,I know that by booking early you get the cabin you want, but what I want to know do cruise companys lower the prices if the boat isn't full or would they rather sail with empty cabins ?

Yes you can sometimes get a good deal by booking late if it is out side school holidays, but we have got good deals by booking early and late.
3 weeks ago we booked a cruise for the end of Sept and the prices have gone up since not down and there are still cabins available?
Prices alter week by week and sometimes daily We got a cancellation offered by an agent so sign up with a few agents and they will send you offers as they arise.
Remember that if the offer requires you booking a flight to check that can find and book one that suits you.
We often book last minute. Sometimes we get a great deal, sometimes we either pay more, don't get the cabin grade we want or leave it too late and the ship is full. If you want a particular cabin grade book early. Otherwise I keep a close eye on cabins and availability and take a risk.
Cruising my way through life!

We do agree your opinion
Hello Nicole and Michel
We were in Bruges only a few weeks ago and really loved your city . In 2012 we hope to return and stay longer, perhaps take a cruise from there . Do you know of any cruise lines which embark in Zeebrugge , please?
