The Port of Miami launches its new cruise season with four new ships that will offer routes to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico and other destinations.

The new vessels include Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Epic, one of the biggest and best equipped ships sailing today.

The Norwegian Epic came to dock in Miami in the summer and with its pioneering style of cruising and luxury entertainment it is a thrilling addition to the fleet, offering week long itineraries to the Caribbean.

Other ships sailing out of Miami in 2010/2011 are the Celebrity Eclipse, Oceania Cruises' the Marina and Costa Cruise's, the Atlantica.

"Cruising from the Port of Miami has never been more exciting," said Port of Miami director Bill Johnson.

"Four new vessels over a seven month span positions the Port of Miami to deliver for the strongest season ever. We are looking forward to welcoming four million cruise passengers over the next year."
