    Free wine for ferry passengers

Those booking a day trip to France with P&O ferries will be entitled to a free bottle of wine.

The offer is open to those booking a ferry trip in autumn and with prices for one car and passengers only costing £20 return Sunday to Friday or £25 on Saturdays it seems like now is a good time to book.

For those looking to do a spot of Christmas shopping a discount voucher is also included giving 10% off the company's beauty range of gift sets on board.

The offer covers Dover to Calais day trips booked by 28 October, for travel until 10 November.

P&O Ferries will launch the Spirit of Britain, the largest ferry ever designed for the Dover - Calais route in January.

A couple of years ago I did a day trip to Callis on a P&O ferry, on foot, for £1, return - thanks to the Sun.

This included a free bottle of wine (white or red). The wine was NOT fantastic, but it was drinkable.

    Not a bad deal!
