P&O Cruises will this month launch a new advertising campaign designed to highlight the diversity of sea holiday options available to consumers.

Set to air from December 27th 2010, the adverts will encourage viewers to visit the cruise operator's website or Facebook page in order to enter a competition to win a 15-night cruise onboard Ventura.

Carol Marlow, managing director of P&O Cruises, revealed that the 'Explorers' campaign is intended to show the "range and depth of experience" offered by the company.

"Featuring emotive imagery from iconic destinations such as Venice, Sydney and Greece, the adverts bring to life the wonder of discovery, as seen through the eyes of our passengers," she added.

The cruise line recently launched a sale that reportedly offers savings of up to £2,500 as well as free onboard spending money of almost £1,000 per couple.

Customers can make the most of the promotion by booking between December 1st this year and January 31st 2011 for a range of holidays, from two-night getaways to 109-night global voyages.
