Whatr has the last 5-6 answers got to do with drinking, I was hoping that this forum had changed, but it still seems the same, going of at a tangent and ending up as a free for all because someone took offence at a statement, we are talking about 2 much drinnking possibly.... why is RCI always slagged off for its prices here we go a glass of wine,
    Costa Euro 6.75
    Princess $6.75
    NCL $6.25
    Cunard $5.95
    Ociana $5.75
    Azamara from $5.75
    Holland America, RCI $5.50

So why arent people moaning about the above lines as for Spirit and Mixer 6 cruise lines are more expensive than RCI, Bottle of beer 2 are higher, so RCI are very competitive, and just to finish a Latte Coffee 9 cruise lines are higher than RCI
Very true and don't forget that while P&O may appear to be cheaper they only serve measured single amounts on spirits and usually just the obvious brands, ie Smirnoff not Absolute, Gordons not Bombay Sapphire etc. I always get my wife a double which comes to approx £4.80 plus a mixer at around 80p so RCIs which are always if not more than a double (depends on the generousity of your barman) and the mixer is included, so at $6.50 it is very good value. It is the draft beer prices which suffer being around the same price or slightly less. On the relevant subject of this forum it would appear that the bar staff have not been properly trained as to how to handle the all inclusive feature, they should refuse multiple drinks request and insist on one drink per card, so you have to take your partners card to the bar with you, this will deter those who try to fiddle the sustem and spoil it for the others who are more honest. It works well with Thompsons and Celebrity so why not with RCI. I just hope they have not put up their prices as an earlier post suggested. We are on the four night mini break to Cork so look forward to finding out and will report accordingly.

The two Mini Breaks at the end of the Month have been excluded from the package. All info can be found on the RCI site under FAQs.

Richard, you must read UNDERCLASS, a recent account (more akin to War and Peace) of Ventura, from Major Pratt of Chipping Sodbury, 4th April. He doesn't pull his punches. He managed to rattle the cages of 151 members. He's a little bit right of Attila the Hun, get my drift. He's over 65, so maybe he gets carried away a little ... prone to exaggeration. You know what these old ex-services buffers can be like. I think you'll learn a lot from his style. I'll know if you've taken anything on board (get it!!) in your future efforts..... Your obedient Darloboy

The free & easy drinking culture in this country has unfortunately in recent years turned some of our towns and cities on a Friday/Saturday night into practically no-go areas for some folk. However, I have always felt safe upon a cruise ship and I do so hope that this continues...
