Post Free at last! MSC's coffee, water, buffet + more!

Yep, it's all change at MSC!

Starting in May, there will be a lot more on offer...

Buffet restaurants will be opened in the evening to allow passengers to enjoy a lighter, more casual dining experience at their leisure, with no fixed dining times.

Plus, complimentary American coffee, teas, iced water and ice will be available not just during breakfast and buffet dining, but 24 HOURS A DAY.

    How about that then?

Its not only the British that seek such things, in fact cruising is the fastest growing holiday type in Ireland and after all we are all Europeans, perhaps it may be better to say adapting to the growing EU market! Just trying to be inclusive!

Maybe they will eventually have tea/coffee in the cabins as well.

I can live without tea / coffee in the stateroom, if it is there I am too lazy to make it - would prefer to go up deck and have it there.

oh, really brilliant! (I don't think) (-: I'm off on MSC on 10 May and have bought an all inclusive package because buying teas/coffees/water etc can get so expensive (let alone the wine etc). No mention of this when I booked it though! Refund you think? I doubt it.

Thank goodness. Maybe all the grumbling in the Reviews and Comments on this site (and I presume other sites as well) made MSC realise that to compete in Europe they have to adapt.

Well I guess it came too late for those embarking last Thursday then.

Seriously though, with so many MSC cruises sailing from Southampton this year they, MSC, had to do something.

Sorry to put a dampner on you but tea & coffee weren't included in the AI package anyway (nor is Rose wine~ but hot chocolate is ) so you would still have had to pay for them, but then again at €1.10 - €1.90 they weren't exactly going to break the bank....

Check out: MSC Cruises UK : All Inclusive Cruise Options if you don't believe me

Anywho that now puts me into the position of what the am I going to spend my OBC on?? perfume me thinks or possibly a new handbag

We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.

    MSC Tea, Coffee & Water

Was on Fantasia from 18th to 25th April cruising West Med and didn't have to pay extra for tea, coffee or water in the buffet.

Pity there is no forward observation area, inside or out, for the "ordinary" passenger. Seems MSC have gone back to 1st and 2nd class like the old days - the "Yacht Club" is effectively 1st class taking over the best parts of the ship.
