RCL-Voyager July 2012, unable to book?

It might be that we are just too early trying to book the 11 night from Venice around greece and Turkey for July 2012 for 2 adults and a 12 year old.

In March we saw the prices on RCL and 3 travel agents gave us a price with flights, outside balcony etc but when they tried to book it RCL removed the prices and they are now unavailable, which makes me nervous thinking they will exceed our budget when they come back on sale, which was coincidently around the time RCL were advertising their sale on National T.V.

We have rang RCL a few times (TA has also) and they cannot give us a reason or time estimation when it will become available and to be honest I feel like taking our Business elsewhere but we have been with RCL before and we did enjoy it plus the itinery is just what we want. It coincides with a big birthday and I have managed to book the 2 week off work which was a task in itself!

Has anyone else had problems trying to book this recently?

I had a quick look on a cruise agent we use. They book a block of cabins and the price does not vary until they are sold. They are quoting £1139 for an inside: £1329 for o/view and £1419 for E2 balcony inclusive of flights, which they arrange but those are subject to extra cost depending on requirements. I would not put their details on this forum as I don't think it is right to advertise a rival. If you want the details of the cruise agent, please send a private message but may I ask that you try Cruise Co first.

I've noticed that RCI availability is a bit hit and miss for 2012...

It seems to depend which site you go to as to as to which cruises are available... some itineraries aren't on some sites (and i include cruise dot in this.

Be nice if all the RCI itineraries were available on all sites for a proper comparison (same with NCL too...)
