Holland America will be hosting a vampire theme cruise next year



The week-long sailing promises to feature a 'fangtastic' vampire ball, costume contest and trivia competition.

There will also be a "Vamps Got Talent" contest for passengers.

Vampire scholar John Edgar Browning will be on board to host a vampire movie festival. Also scheduled to star is Dacre Stoker, a great-grandnephew of Dracula author Bram Stoker and a co-author of a sequel, Dracula: The Un-Dead.

The week-long cruise will take place aboard MS Zuiderdam and depart from Vancouver, on June 23, 2012, and include stops in Juneau, Glacier Bay, Skagway and Ketchikan.

That's a funny one for Holland America? Wouldn't have thought it would appeal to their clientele. Sounds more like Carnival or RCI. Be a good one for a face painters conference, like me. We always have a theme and dress up for our get togethers!!
