Rccl To allow children in Concierge

Young Children to be allowed in Concierge lounge during Happy Hour.

Just recieved an email from an American friend who want to stop this by asking Diamond and Diamond plus to write too
    agoldstein@rccl.com.

At present Children are not allowed in the lounge during the free drink period for Suite guests, Diamond and diamond plus guests.
It is strange that they are willing to allow children in but have changed the policy where guests in the same cabin unless both have reached diamond level or are in a Suite cannot.
If you are Diamond please write to goldstein if you want it to stay as it is.

As a society as a whole I think we probably have moved away from children shall not be seen or heard mentallity. I suspect that the reason for this change is that passengers have requested that their children are allowed to join them. I understand RCCL are quite family orientated across most of their brands.

Just a thought, however not one that will probably go down well with traditionalists.

Children have always been allowed into Private Lounges but only at the descretion of the Concerge and the strict ruling of a no Alcohal policy. As to Suite guests given the amount of money they spend for the priviledge once again is at the descretion of the Concerge, but Junior Suite guests have never qualified for entry.I dont see how anyone can dictate how Royal Carribean run a private club onboard and all Guests are their by personal invatation.

My son would have been bored stiff at the thought of grownups and their 'cocktail hour'!
