The French line, Compagnie du Ponant, has ordered a new ship.

Carrying 264-passengers, it will be line’s sixth vessel, and will be identical to the companies twin ships Le Boreal and L’Austral, which were launched in 2010 and 2011.

Launch is scheduled for June 2013.

Commenting, Jean-Emmanuel Sauvée, the line’s managing director, said: “Following on the success of introducing our super yachts Le Boréal and L’Austral, we are committed to progressing our business development plan to create state-of-the-art ships, perpetuating the yachting spirit of our fleet.”
