Post Spooky! Ever been at sea for Halloween?

Moo ha ha ha.... It's halloween and lots of cruise ships will be trick or treating their guests a spook-tacular time!

According to NCL, their ships will be adorned with creepy decorations and guests can join in special activities, from masquerade balls and costume contests to scavenger hunts and scary movie trivia. Those looking to experience the mystery and thrills of the season can attend Murder Mystery lunches performed by The Second City Comedy Troupe on board Norwegian Dawn; Epic; Gem; Pearl; Spirit; Star and Pride of America.

Passengers will also enjoy with themed desserts such as Pecan Caramel Spiders made with dark chocolate, caramel and pecans or Halloween cupcakes decorated with bewitching confections and made with chocolate, cream cheese and topped with a peanut butter frosting. To add to the festivities of the evening, adults can enjoy themed cocktail specialties such as a Blackbeard’s Ghost.

Have you ever been on a cruise for Halloween? Did the cruiseline put anything special on, or did the day sail past unnoticed? Not everyone is into celebrating it, but as you can see from these videos, it's a big thing for some...

Talking of costumes... how cool is this?!

Yes,a few years agoon Oriana. The children all dressed up, the photographers dressed in Halloween costumes for photos with passengers, there were decorations around the ship & a themed evening in Harlequins. Passengers dressed up if they so chose. It was great fun & a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I must admit to not wanting to hear Michael Jackson's Thriller again for a while after that evening!!
