Topic: QM2 Returns With Name Change!

I took two photos of the new home port name on the QM2, going from New York to Southampton and another going from Southampton to Cape Town. These photos were published in the Royal Gazette (Hamilton, Bermuda). You can see them at

There was some discussion on board the QM2. One Englishman said, "Well, Bermuda is a British Protectorate. The QM2 is still British." A crew member said "It is all about money, saving money, isn't it?" No one really believed that the real reason for changing the name was to have more weddings on board.

i know it won't affect the everyday running of the ship and the service will still remain first class but it just looks so wrong!
