Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) has revealed the itinerary for its latest Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship holiday, which is set to make its winter season debut in 2013.
The 4,000-passenger ship will sail to the Bahamas, Florida and the Caribbean as part of its inaugural season.
Departing from the homeport of New York, the new NCL vessel will begin life on the seas with 25 seven-day cruises to the Bahamas and Florida.
These trips will begin from October 13th 2013 and run through to April 27th 2014, with ports along the journey set to include Nassau, Orlando and Port Canaveral.
In addition to this, January 2014 will also see two 12-day Southern Caribbean voyages offered to holidaymakers along with two further 'Weekend Escape" mini cruises.
Speaking about the announcement NCL chief executive Kevin Sheehan said: “Norwegian Breakaway is one of the most highly anticipated new ships and has seen great demand for her summer sailings to Bermuda.”
The ship represents the largest ever to port in New York, with estimates suggesting around 140,000 passengers could visit the city over the course of the vessel's two-year stay in the region.
UK travellers may be familiar with the Norwegian Breakaway too, which currently offers transatlantic trips to New York, via Southampton.
