There is a simple answer to your problem - switch the option to receive emails OFF.

A few of us have done exactly that but they still keep coming. As I have contributed to lots of topics, I get loads of notifications in my in box when I log on every morning. If anyone can tell me how to stop it, I would be truly grateful.

Hi Jill,

2 steps:
1) In the Blue Bar - User Profile, then Edit Options then in the part that says "Default Topic Subscription Mode" change that to what you would like

2) Then click on "LIST SUBSCRIPTION" and you can see the threads/topics that send you mail - you can delete or modify to your preference.
