Why do people not read all about their purchase, These two spent over £4000 and didn't bother with what the conditions of their purchase were.
They obviously rely on the old adage.....If all else fails, please read instructions.
So what have we had today? Three people who didn't know where they could eat after buying a special dining arrangement. Four people who had no idea that there were extras which had to be paid for and these two going to the steaming jungle without a thought as to what might be a safe option.
The mind boggles.....Neil
I have been more than a bit busy this week so hadn't gotten around to reading Peter's review.
What that man suffers for the sake of his art. He has, without putting up any argument, agreed to let us know about suites throughout the cruising world and he is doing it without let or hindrance. He has made a really good job of this one but I am sorry that P & O have come out of it so badly. They ought to have been aware of Peter's preferences by reading his past reviews, silly them.
Seriously, I think it was a good review and a good insight into how some things are and how, sometimes, complacency becomes infectious. It is not the first time that this kind of accusation has been levelled at them.
Well done Peter. .....Neil
Peter complains bitterly about the layout of his 'AB' suite - although there are no AB suites on Arcadia. He complains it was one large room - and therefore not a real suite - although the P&O brochure and website have photos and diagrams showing exactly the layout he discovered. This is like buying a Harley-Davidson and complaining it only has two wheels! ;)
I have just read Peters review and all the comments and am amazed that he actually said, Quote: "I just book cruises without doing much research, I must admit, a top suite on every other cruise line I have been on is something very special, and I thought that the same would be true on P&O, how wrong could I of been"
Given the amount of money Peter is prepared to spend, I am even more amazed! Just goes to show, even 'experienced' cruisers need to do their research!
Lizzie.
Well Dave, it may be safer to stick to friendliness and loveliness because, sshh 'you never know who is listening or reading' subjects considered inappropriate or sensitive, you know who, wink-wink.
Mind you, it's a bit stifling for those 'a bit outspoken' in having to self-censor their ruminations before publication.

mild mannered Gordon
