    Matthew 24 Verse 7
It doesn't specify a time it just states

" Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places "

But then Matthew 24 Verse 8

"All of these are the beginings of birth pains" ...... ?

We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.

I lived in fear after having my daughter in 1969. My first fear was a Nuclear war. Then I read Nostradamus. The world would end in July 1999. After it didnt, I realised that what will be, will be. Nothing I can do will alter that. I wish I had not taken so much notice. I try and live as happy and normal life as I can now. No longer believe in all the predictictions of doom! This is just my opinion and if others believe them it's up to them. Carol

Bully for you Carol, Global Warming is just another one. This world of ours has been heating up and cooling since time began. Governments exacerbate it to show how statesmanlike they are, but like the resurection menus from the Titanic, it's about making a few bob (oh my age showing) and another junket.

After seeing some of the menus from that period in the "Cunardia" showcases and wall decorations on the Queens Mary2 and Victoria, I dont think I would really like much of the food served as it seemed to contain some very unusual parts of the animal.

I think the book is great idea though, I can imagine people having Titanic themed dinner parties. All you need is the book and the Celine Dion CD!

Here is a video interview with the author

If anyone would like to watch an interview with Yvonne Hume, the author of RMS Titanic Dinner is Served, here she is on Scottish Television.

She comes across really warm actually - I think she genuinely is proud of her great uncle.

    OMG this is getting scary.

Perhaps we'd best wait until after Dec. 21st. 2012
before making any decisions like naming an NCL newbuild TITANIC.

Why NCL? How should I know: it just popped into my head.

I love our forum, in a pc world we can still express how we personally feel about the topics that are raised.

I would of not known about this book unless of the forum so I will be purchasing the book because iam interested about all the people who was on the ship, I do not agree with class seperation but i have cruised to destinations where there are facts about the Titanic from Ireland to Nova scotia.

There are still questions that have never been answered about the Titanic and thats the mission I am on to find answers ......and I will be sailing on the new eclipse in April to Ireland...there is a good little musem at the port of "Queenstown" (Queen victoria renamed it)

But I just want to say one final comment " Mans greatest fear is.....being forgotten".......can you remember your grandfathers dads name.......Ciao Rocky
    Hello Rocky
Its 'Cobh' now not Queenstown although Queenstown is more glamorous I agree, although Cobh sounds quaint, I like both. It became Cobh the old Irish name in 1922.
I hope you enjoy Eclipse. Im on the 21 May 11 sailing to Madeira and Canaries!
( my grandfathers dad, my grandfather, my father all William (Wullie) but sadly all gone but still fond memories.) Im off to ask my husband if he can name his.....

Eclipse to Cobh ...excellent ship and quaint town

    Heather
You will enjoy the ship, we got back today and I must say the ship has many features.........I will start a new forum about the ship but i love Cobh and it is my second visit after going there on the independance last august, i have been writing a spin off book fact and fiction about the titanic thats why we sailed from Boston to Canada to get facts from the musems.

When you hear the ships Horn sound as it leaves Cobh it send shivers as you imagine the last port of call for the Titanic and the musem on the dock that shows the events of all the people leaving Ireland after the potatoe famin....bad conditions on those ships make island cruises look good...sorry i jest.....
I found out that 3 people jumpded ship in Cobh from the titanic, did they have an inclin? mind you even these ones will have fallen a sleep....
