    A cruise/voyage with a difference

I took a photo of this boat leaving Harwich, when I looked it up to see what she she did, I found the following.
A voyage with a difference, 3 days, 7 days or 14 days, a little more expensive than a cruise.
Patricia is the Trinity House flagship, based at Harwich, which carries passengers as she completes her vital work. This hugely popular holiday experience means guests can view her normal duties, which involve the maintenance of navigational buoys, the attendance and refuelling of offshore lighthouses and dealing with emergencies, including the marking of wrecks.

Delboy, I saw this in advert in 'Cruise International' recently.

I just cannot imagine giving up my P&O/Celebrity/Cunard piece of luxury to test this experience!
    I can. It sounds intriguing.

    Hi Jim
Most of them are taken from Ha'Penny Pier, also from near the old lighthouse, along by the beach huts.
Any broadsides and I may have to pop over on the old ferry to Languard Point and take a few from there. :D:D;)

About Midnight, virtually 24 hour daylight in the Fjords in June, we went on Oceana in June last year, had terrific weather.
    Wish we were going back.

    Cayamo

Has anyone been on a themed music cruise `Cayamo. They have been running out of Miami for the last three years in February. The 2011 cruise is on the 13th February on the Norwegian Pearl. Any information gratefully received before we decide whether to book.
