Red face Holland America for the Disabled

Holland America cater very well for people with disabilities. They created a partnership with the Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality (SATH) to expand the potential customer base.
As part of its Signature of Excellence service enhancements, Holland America have introduced Access to Excellence which is a 10 minute DVD that illustrates how the ships accommodate guests with a variety of special needs, including those requiring wheelchairs, scooters, sight or hearing impaired etc.
12 of Holland America's ships are equipped with wheelchair accessible tenders. This however may not be suitable for all passengers and may not always be available due to weather conditions etc.
Holland America has wheelchair accessible staterooms with roll in showers, shower seats and heavy duty handrails. In addition to this the doorways are all wider than a standard cabin.
If you are travelling with a motorised scooter then you have to comply with certain criteria on dimensions and weight of the scooter and also which sort of cell it is.

You might want to rephrase this last sentence as it could invite unwanted, but possibly apt, replies!
