    Post Recommendations ?

Best make this a good post as I see nobody has used this section until now.

Has anyone any suggestions for an ideal deferred honeymoon cruise? We're lucky in that it will not be tied to the wedding (we hope that's a caribbean event over Christmas/New Year) but needs to be good for Mar-Jun 2011 and I've considered it'd be nice to ring changes by going for a different cruise line and/or mainly areas we've not been to. Duration 7-12 nights (14 at a stretch)

We've cruised OV, Thomson and NCL previously, Mexico, Turkey/Greek Isles, Main Med ports largely ticked off... we do like flexibility in our programme and meal times and need something lively to do, so any ideas people?

We are hoping to cruise to Scandinavia on the Eclipse next year. Possibly not lively enough for you though. Have you clicked on to Barbados and seen Aplmac's photos , they are fantastic. Maybe the Caribbean would suit .

Whatever you choose , good luck !

I think Caribbean is ideal for a honeymoon, although I would check out the dates as you dont want to start hitting hurricane season. Probably March/April would be Ok and you can get some really good deals around that time.

Perhaps to make it even more special you could splash out a little extra and have a suite. Just looked on a really good US web site that has a brilliant search engine NCL Pearl 14 nights reasonable price for suite with loads of OBC. You would need flights on top though.

David, I think you should pick a 'premium' line rather than 'mass-market' for this special occasion if your budget will stretch!

I'd have a look at Celebrity, Princess or Azura to the Baltic for something different. Possibly in June when there wouldn't be too many children about.

If you didn't wat to be tied to set meal times and you could make your budget stretch there are always the alternative dining venues and I know that P&O do early dining specials which are cheaper than the standard prices

I found the Caribbean nice but a bit samey and I didn't enjoy the long flight back but you are getting married there anyway!

A lot of the baltic cruises (ex UK) are for 2 weeks but you can get shorter ones if you fly to Copenhagen or Amsterdam.

We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.
