My fiance and I have never cruised before and are considering going on a cruise for our honeymoon next year. We want to go from the UK and think that a cruise would be ideal as I won't fly so it will mean seeing different places abroad without having to worry about flying. We are hoping to go to the Mediterranean and considering July 2011 as we have seen quite a few cruises going at the time, although we are marrying in June. We really need advice on which cruise line everyone would recommend for a couple on their honeymoon? I am in my mid 20s and my fiance is late 20s. I am also vegetarian so would like a cruise line that is good at catering for this. So far we have looked at P&O, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. All advice is much appreciated.
Mid 20's - suggest RCL or NCL - Fred Olsen is too old for me and I'm under 40 - I also found Celebrity fantastically beautiful and great food but a little grown up.

There are more and more ships leaving Southampton, but you can narrow down the choice. First if you smoke, check out the list that appears on this site....
If you want young people and families, avoid adult only, cruise ships as tends to have older cruisers.
If you are on a tight budget and like a drink look at P&O.
If not RCCL or even Princess.
NCL Cant comment as along time since we have been on them and i believe this line is ideal if you do not want to dress up.
Celebrity and Fred olsen have an older average age, but Celebrity has better food and service write ups.
But do not let this put you off as every ship has its plus points.
Maybe going for the larger ships will give you more people of your age and also on there honeymoons as well.
Which ever you choose tell them its your Honeymoon and they will look after you.
    Enjoy
    J
