    Single First Time Cruiser

    Hi All!

Well, I've wanted to do a cruise for a looooong time but was always put off by the extortionate single supplements.

Then today, I found this website and within a few hours I'd booked my first ever cruise!

I'm flying to LA in June where I'll pick up the Mariner of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) for a 7 night cruise to Mexico.

I cannot wait...not sure how I'll manage to drag myself to work everyday between now and then!

Just hoping I don't get sea sick...

I'm glad to see another single has pushed the boat out. Don't know anything about RC, I'm a P&O girl myself but I'm sure you'll have a great time.

The new Norwegian Epic has no single supplement at all on their studio cabin grade!

    Single cruiser

On our many trips, i have often thought, what a good holiday for a single. Always company if you want it, so many interesting people to chat with and my husband and i, having different tastes, separate at times to do our own thing. On our last cruise i became friendly with a lady who was terrified of the sea but at one point wasn't aware we moving and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, so much so, they are going to try and get booked with us on our next cruise. The one and only time i have been sick was when we had a bit of a roll when i was in our inside cabin packing. Others that had problems just went and had an injection, so don't let it spoil your antisipation, i feel sure you will have a great time.

they would have a cheek to charge a single supp as they are so small you can hardly swing a cat.

don't want to work, just want to cruise.

Hi Baileys, welcome to the forum. so glad you decided to take the plunge so to speak :D RCI is a good cruise line to go with on your first cruise. they will have a singles get-together, make sure you go to them so you can meet single people like yourself. if I had to holiday on my own I would pick cruising as everyone is so friendly. you can do your own thing during the day but at night you will be able to chat to your tablemates, go to a show, listen to various types of music etc. hope you have a great time, June will be here before you know it. let us know how you get on. but a word of warning it is going to be a costly cruise as you will have to book another and another and another...............cos you will be hooked. :D

don't want to work, just want to cruise.

    Thanks for welcome

    Thanks for the welcome everyone.

I'll definitely let you know how the first cruise goes but be assured I'll be back asking lots of questions before I go!
