Delboy, I just studied both yours and our photos and realised that we must have been stood at exactly the same spot! Hahaha Our ship Ventura, is moored behind Grand Princess. And Grand Princess was where Oceana moored when you visited.
Great Photo's Pippa, makes you wonder how they get Ventura & Grand Princess in that small space, sorry you did not have such good weather, I think we were extremely lucky.

Haha I know! It was more of a squeeze than you realise, Ocean Princess was moored up with us as well!

    Here's Ventura trying to hide...

Back in the 50's, 60's there were always dolphins in the Bristol channel and would ride the waves of the paddle steamers. Barry Island often had jelly fish in the summer. Had to stay out of the water then. On the second cruise of the QM2 I went whale watching in St Lucia and we seen false pilot whales that were jumping out of the sea. We were informed that they were in the process of giving birth. We also seen a huge pod of pilot whales that took ages to pass us. Also seen flying fish out to sea in 2005. Dolphins played around the Caronia off Panama City in 2001. Yet to see the larger size whales.
