Hi Carol, I agree. I used to just log and and read everybody's comments and really enjoyed them. I never wrote anything back but now I feel as if I know some of the people on here and quite enjoy replying to the comments. "Baby boy" jiggered up his knee, playing rugby on Wednesday and is now on crutches I feel a trip to Ormskirk coming

I WOULD LIKE A BADGE PLEASE

Must agree with everyone about the forum. I really am addicted to this now as well as cruising and have 'met' the nicest people.

Ah! annie, that's a shame about your 'baby boy', hope he's ok. It happened to our 'baby boy' twice playing football. Once the night before we were going on holiday, agh! We had to cancel as he needed an operation. Fortunately it wasn't a cruise.

    Badges to go.

;)Tommorow I am taking the first step in comissioning production of the badge I shall be wearing at the naming ceremony for the Eclipse! We have decided to use the design that Wansborough submitted,on the basis that it is more Dignified than Neil's,which was more Disneyfied (sorry Neil).Sartorial Stan.;)

Hi Stan, that's exciting. As all was quiet on the western front, I wondered what was happening with the badge. So are you and May starting a production line? Are you taking orders or are you only making 2? I llok forward to seeing the finished product. Good luck and have fun.

I Jill,I've only been quiet(although trying to read everything, and not as quiet as Gordon???),because of the vast amount of time and contemplation that I've been devoting to "picture posting".If the badge turns out OK it will be a limited edition of 1,because May refuses to "be seen dead" in one,as it will clash with her outfits! She is still in the process of deciding whether to select from her "spring range" her "summer range" or her"mid-season "range due to the uncertainty of the weather in late April If the badge looks OK,I might commision a few smaller ones,to give to friends as "exclusive Christmas gifts",or alternatively to use as prizes if and when we go on the Eclipse, and decide to play any little games(careful now Jill).I was thinking of possibly a "live" version of Shelledpea's game,or alternatively..."Who can come up with the worst adjective to describe Sue"Take care.....Scurrying Stan.:D

Here are his designs (I think some of you had trouble viewing, so he asked me to post them for him)....

    Attachment 1274

    Attachment 1275

I'm sure one of these designs would make nice cuff links for dress shirts on formal nights.

I can see May's point of view. I guess that the rest of us on Eclipse will have to make do with the label they give us on embarkation- I will expect them to be in varying colours to match mine and May's outfits.

As fot the games Stan- Can I play? See you soon
