    Souvenier Cocktail Glasses

I had a bit of a clear out at the weekend and came across boxes full of cocktail glasses from various cruises we have been on. Every time I go I tell myself I will not bring any more back but they always seem to have a different style each time.

Does anyone else collect these glasses or anything else as a souvenier of their cruise?

I collect 'Final Account Bills' dont really want to, but I always take them home, and now they have their own file in pride of place on my desk.

Just dont mention 'fridge magnets' or 'door access cards'.

Oh yes, I have kept all my door cards apart from Cuncard. On QM2 they insisted on taking them back when we got off.

I collect the 'Daily News' sheets. It will help me recall where I've been when I get too old to remember!

Suppose 'final account bills' Tells us what we shouldnt really spend next time, cut down, cut down, we really didnt need that did we? (At the time, we always did) .......... Anyway, fridge magnets are very desirable. Door access cards are very collectable (Especially to one or two people. ) Antiques of the future? Carol ;)

Yes, I have quite a collection, especially the ones from Royal Caribbean Schooner Bar. I have far too many of the daytime cocktails plastic glasses. A couple of Martini Glasses with the curvy stem, Some nice curved tall cocktail glasses and two or three of the night time light up glasses.

I am a little confused as to Royal Caribbeans latest policy on the Souvenier glasses. You used to be able to ask for the daytime cocktail of the day to be served in a regular glass at a lesser price. Now you can no longer do this - its the same price either way. But you can purchase the glasses seperately now also.

And one evening when in the bar I asked for cocktail of the day. The waitress said she would have to go to the deck to get it as they didnt have the plastic souvenier glasses in the bar. I said no its ok I dont want the glass anyway, (Plastic does not do it for me in the evening) However she insisted that she had to go and get me this glass and I could not have the cocktail in an ordinary glass. Words fail me.

Did someone mention fridge magnets? Ooh yes please -Hang on a tic, I'll go and make room for another. I only managed 6 when I was OV last month, I can't think how I managed to miss so many.
    Sorry David, couldn't resist.
