    Buying a cruise at Venice

    Does anyone know if it is possible to turn up at Venice, and buy a cruise on the day of departure ?

    We will be in Venice on the 11th Sept 2010 and would like a one week cruise.

    Have you looked to see what ships are sailing out of Venice ? Then maybe check their website to see if there are any good deals for cruise only ?

    It used to be possible to turn up on the day and I did once [In Miami] but with heightened security I would imagine harder now.
