After reading the great post below, I thought it would be remiss of me not to join up and provide some info for you.
Geoff Merrill Wines is based in Woodcroft, which is about 40 minutes drive directly South from Adelaide, on the way to the fantastic McLaren Vale Wine region. So ideally, start your food and wine adventure at Geoff Merrill's then head down to McLaren Vale for more wineries and excellent local produce for lunch. Many wineries have highly acclaimed restaurants attached, or grab some fish and chips and sit on the beach at Port Willunga!
If you have a group and are going to do a wine tour, let us know when you are coming and we will give you a tour of the winery as well as a tasting.
