Thanks for that Margaret/John.
I think you'll find that Cornish girl is Carol. I can't add to the list, so maybe there are only a few of us from cruisedot that have been lucky enough to be invited. There seems to have been more on Magnifica. Is there anyone there to correct me?
Can't wait till the 24th (23rd for us) of April.
Jill :D
Thanks for the advice about the Catherdral and the port does indeed look beautiful..Carol
I wish we would hear from Cornish Girl who still hadn't received confirmation at the weekend. I know she sent an email to Sukie and undoubtedly Sukie will have checked it out with Celebrity. I am sure all will be OK but I know I was a wreck when I hadn't heard from them! I think I was more worried about telling people that we weren't going after all than anything else! Undoubtedly people would have made some choice comments becauser I have been guilty of telling every man woman and child about the trip"!Perhaps CG is having a nice little break somewhere - I hope so. I wonder if there are indeed more of us? Wasn't it about 30 on MSC Magnifica? Perhaps Bill has some information on how many there were on Equinox last year?
I have just seen a special offer on an hotel in Bournemouth for anyone who hopes to travel down early and may need a hotel. Bournemouth is approximately 30 miles from Southampton. It is for the 4* Norfolk Royal Hotel and is £49 per person for Dinner Bed and Breakfast in a Superior room (they say dinner is £29.50 so it does sound like a good deal) You can get all of the information here: Find Coast Ireland & UK Hotels, Hotel Sales | Travelzoo
I shouldn't worry about Carol as I'm sure her invitation is valid.
The hotel in Bournemouth sounds like a good deal. We have already booked in at a Holiday Inn at Eastleigh, which is only a few miles north of Soton. We are only a couple of hours from home anyway but thought it would be nice to make a long weekend of it and maybe use our NT & EH membership cards. How long will your journey take?

Hi Magsy, and all the gang I am up and about again caught the sickness bug!!! My name is Marie and my husband's is Joe{paddy} however, I still haven't had my invite although Sukie has assured me it will be here by the weekend .I look forward to meeting you all and we will travel up early hours Saturday from Cornwall don't want to miss anything. Any one know what the boarding time is? I shall be on the case until that invite arrives!!!
Hi y'all.According to May's understanding there are only 12 going to this gig.Marie from Troon had to refuse, as did Gordon and also Wandsborough Weston s Mare, and so far we're not aware of any replacements.May has a question.....was the ship(Magnifica), full to capacity and if so were there 2 sittings for dinner??Stan the statistician!:D
