I do hope some of you who are sailing on the 24th will post a blog whilst you are onboard as we are on the pre-inaugural trip on the 26th and are desperate to read some reviews!

This is the first time on a new ship as well as the first time with Celebrity and we can't wait.

If Grant is on board, no doubt he will do it. If not, I will as I know how excited you will be.

Thanks Jill Ifeel better now I felt quite rude knowing you were a lady and calling you by your surname , do you think we will get one a badge that is! Marie
    Hi Marie.

According to those who were on board Magnifica last weekend, Cruise dot have agreed to give us a badge when the forum number reaches 10,000. Stanandmay have been running a book on the date but I think he closed the betting a few days ago. Going shopping for a new posh frock next week!:D:D

    Jill

    Nevertheless----We want a badge!

If Grant is on the freebie one, you will not have any problems. We will all see it as it happens. He does a wonderful job. I'm a member of 'GAS' If not, one of you has to keep up to speed and bypass the bars. We will be hungry for info. Carol ;)

Hope Grant is on board. I followed your freebie on Magnifica courtesy of Grant. Not sure I will be able to bypass the bars as many times as he did. I might have to put OH on to it. I certainly am not as clever as Grant with the video and running commentary.

I think Grant sails on the 26Th the day we disembark however, I will tell it as it is when we get back, maybe Stan or Speedwell are great snappers and have the technique to upload the photos any way I have my frock.

I have the invite but its for adults only so my little lad (3) can't come with us. I've asked the missus to make the decision but I expect it will be a no go for us...........I'm just waiting for a text back........but I cannot see my wife leaving the little one with grandma for the weekend....We have never left him overnight yet...

Vinny, go for it! Grandma will have a ball spoiling him all weekend, and your little one will have an experience as well especially if you involve him with packing a little suitcase and favourite toy. I look back at all the times I didn't do something because of worrying about my children and now they have all grown up and left home they have never once said "thanks for staying in when we were small" However I do understand how your wife will feel as it is really hard the first time you do something without them..Carol

    Carol,
I personally would go for it, but my wife is very reluctant to leave Oliver with her mum for the weekend. Her mum does not have the best of health and being honest, as a typical 3 year old, he would run rings around grandma and she would need hospital treatment after 1 full day. I've just emailed Sukie to decline the generous offer, so at least someone else will get the chance. Sure all those lucky ones going will have a great time.
