Hi Can any one tell me how they police the 2 bottles of wine allowed on the ship ? Do you have to carry it on in your hand luggage or can it go in your suit case ???
    Thanks :p

There are no set rules. You are allowed a couple of bottles however you take it onboard, suit case, hand luggage or Tescos carrier bag, it makes no odds.

Interestingly, when we sialed on Azamara Journey (Azamara being Celebrity's 'posher' arm), they asked us on embarkation if we had any wine and made a note of our two bottles (they did not ask to see them). The next day, we docked at Sorrento and ashore we bought a box of assorted bottles of wine to bring home, as we were finishing the cruise in Athens and Greek wine is AWFUL. We expected these to be taken away and stored until the end of the cruise - we had no intention of drinking them on board - but no notice was taken when we re-embarked and it spent the rest of the fortnight in our wardrobe. Strange, we thought.
