    Kaytee,

Meant bring it back again to Southampton, love this ship but flying eight hours just is not possible for me now, either the planes are getting smaller or my belly is getting bigger, Genoa or Venice is as far as I will fly.

But a Southampton sailing is my greatest joy. just 35minutes from my door.

You're OK, DW and i have the same problem. It's the planes that are shrinking flying in all that rain out of the U.K. :D
We're on her in September, our 1st time with Princess and sailing out of the UK. We have always flown before.
We have a balcony on Baja deck for less than a small outside L shaped beds cabin on Thomson's Destiny. Visiting practically same ports.

Hi it is good to hear that the ship has been recommended to you by someone who has been on it.

This is my first cruise so although i am very excited i am also a bit aprehensive after reading many reviews about the Grand Princess.

Obviously everyone's expectations are different and what is great for one person is not right for another.

One thing which has concerned me, is a review about the very cabin B431 that we have booked it didn't sound very favourable.

Has anyone stayed in this cabin, can you reassure me it is ok for three adults??
    Hi,
We were on the "Grand" in August. Only believe the good stuff. The ship and crew are fantastic. we were on our 1st cruise and it proved to be the holiday of a lifetime. we have already booked again.
    Have a wonderful experience.

Ninsim. I think it is 2 plus Captains Cocktail, but can't remember. It will be at least 2 for 14 nights but it should tell you in the paperwork and of course if you are on for 4th July expect an American theme. There is nothing stopping you dressing up any night, a lot of people do, just going that bit further on formal nights.

At the top of the Roll Call forum:

"If your sailing isn't there - please email newmusterstation@cruise.co.uk with the ship and date of sailing. Give it 48 hours and it should appear."

I have emailed a couple of times and they have added the date for my future cruises.

    Hope that helps

    Cruiser when possible
