    Grand Princess Dress Code

Hi, we are going on the July 10th cruise out of Southampton, we are cruise first timers and wondered what the Men's dress code was for Dining? I am planning on slacks and shirt, occasionally with a Blazer is that too much? Is a tie required or normal? We have opted for Dine around in the hope that we get more flexibility, does anyone have a view on this also. Thanks in anticipation.

Princess just do formal and smart casual.

Formal for men: Dinner suit with bow tie or dark suit and tie. Rest of the evenings smart trousers with shirt - no need for jacket nor tie.

Yes casual can be short sleeved shirt open collar or tie if you prefer. Most on the formal wear a dark suit with tie but if you dont want to do formal you can have room service or go to the buffet smart more casual. I presume you are going from Southampton, if so you can have more choice as you dont have baggage restrictions. Always remember them as sometimes you just fly back. Then its is 23kgs for most british airlines but for American Airlines is 20kg, I have got caught on that one.

Found that amazing so have just checked AA economy and it's 18kg cabin [VERY generous] and 23kg checked Europe to the US and back.
