    Fred offers Traditional Afternoon Tea

I note that Fred Olsen will offer 'Traditional' Afternoon teas (pocelain pots, finger sanwiches, pastries and scones with music) across all of the fleet by the end of May. However there will be a charge of £5.95 per person!

    It's free with Cunard!

I'm going to Norway on Boudicca in August so will be able to sample the 'traditional afternoon tea' offered for the princely sum of £5.95. I've been on this ship before (really enjoyed it) but found that I ate so much at breakfast and lunch I couldn't face anything else before dinner!
Boudicca does not have all day food but they bring out tea, coffee and snacks mid-morning and mid-afternoon (free up to now) I have to say I've nearly been knocked off my feet in the rush! it's a bit like 'Out of the traps!'
I have availed myself of the tea or coffee though, as it saves going back to the cabin.
I wonder if the free 'second class' service will still continue?

It still does! If you had bothered to check out the other thread, which I linked to above (post 2), you will have seen that this 'special' tea, served in the observatory, is in addition to the 'normal' teas, served FREE elsewhere.
