    Grand Princess or Arcadia?

Hi we are fairly new to cruising, having sailed the Oceana last year. This year we have only September to travel in. It appears it is a toss up between The Grand Princess and the Arcadia both sailing in the first week in september.

Does anyone out their have a preference that could help make up our minds. Me and My sister would appreciate this very much.

This trifel is gorgeous!! yum yum

If pictures of the ships might help in your decision-making process
    here's one of Arcadia..

and here's one of Grand Princess..

Personally, I'd go with Grand Princess -but a lot depends on
whether you think you'd prefer a UK cruise product
    or an American cruise product.

No contest. The Grand Princess for us. Many thanks. Will food be all americanised though? My sister has returned from a Costa cruise and had lots of pasta and pizza.

The food will be Americanised with Princess, but pasta and pizza are not normally a major players! If you want more British style food, P&O it is.

We just spent four days/3 nights on Caribbean Princess
    back in early December.

Not wanting to sound snobbish but..
we ate the civilized way -in the dining rooms, whenever possible
ordering from a Menu. Nice food! Not American, particularly
although I'm sure you could make it that way!! (order steak?)

If you want to gorge at the trough, the Lido awaits
and you can up your cholesterol several different ways
topping up on as much junk food as you care to select from the buffet
although I'm sure you can also make sensible buffet choices and get away relatively unscathed!

It's entirely up to you what you eat
and I'd like to point out that those options also exist right here on land
where you can eat mash and chips -or not.

Do you know how to make intelligent nutritional choices?
Many people don't even care, and think they can easily drop the weight
when they return from the cruise! :D

    Carnival Victory -Lido Deck.

The wide variety of food choices I've found on all my cruise ships caters to most tastes
    -everything from Gross to Refined.

Suit yourself -it's your health..it's the same 'picture' at sea as on land!
    ;)

What good advice, I suggest you give both a go and dance off the excess if you make a wrong decision
