    love both menus. I like several things from each course. don't you hate it when that happens. it then takes me so long to choose. the only thing I don't fancy is black pepper ice cream, yuk. please don't shoot me but hubbie loves foie gras.

    don't want to work, just want to cruise.

    Hi Edna I don't think it is actually banned yet unfortunately. I went to a foodie presentation on Oosterdam and the chef there said humane foie gras was now available, on checking that out on the internet I found that were starving the ducks so they effectively overfed themselves! so no improvement there. All we can do is refuse to eat it and I always make a comment if I am in a restaurant that serves it...Carol

    Most of the dishes sound delicious :

    Chateaubriand , Tournados of Beef , Cornish Sea Bass, Smoked Salmon, Trio of Lemon desserts and Crepe Suzette Flambe being favourites.

    foie gras

    so glad so many of you are against Foie Gras, I cannot beleive anyone would want to eat this it should be banned. The cruelty to the poor goose, being force fed and with metal tubes that actually rip their little throats. I have actually added comments on all my P & O cruise sheets that I think they should stop serving it. Sorry to go on but feel better now

    They won't need to watch Dave, if they end up with two tons uneaten of Foi Gras in store after the cruise, they will surely get the message.

    New Veggie Restaurant!

    Now do I want to pay the supplement for a choice of Potato Gnocchi or maybe I'll have the Potato Gnocchi..... so hard to make my mind up.
