Just logged onto PO'S website to check excursion's for the 2011 Aurora world cruise, and was amazed to see that the cruise is fully booked. I booked last year when the itinerary came out. The Aurora is sailing around South America across the pacific, visiting some lovely pacific Islands plus sailing past Easter Island,.
Visiting Sydney and Brisbane then circumnavigating New Zealand, back across the Pacific visiting Christmas Island and Hawaii. Mexico, Panama canal, Caribbean then back to Southampton.
It's a great itinerary which certainly grabbed cruisers attention, as this cruise is now closed nine months before the sailing date.:D What do other member's think of the itinerary?
I think it sounds fantastic and i'm now a very green colour, is there a way you can get on a reserve list so if someone drops out they let you know first? ....................carol xx :D:D

I would love to do a worldie, our longest to date is a back to back (twice) for almost 5 weeks and I loved it.

A friend who has just returned from the Arcadia worldie (her 1st) wasn't sure if she would like it, half way through she was trying to book Aurora for 2011, she said you programme yourself that you will be away for that length of time, it wasn't until about a week before they got back that she decided she was ready to come home !!

On second thoughts, if the cruise companies put on,

    Beans on toast
    Sausage and mash
Fish fingers and chips once a week, and changed the tea bags to PG tips then maybe, just maybe I could be led astray to do a worldie
