Topic: Ocean Village/Pacific Pearl and OZ

We are Ocean Village supporters and sad to see her go to OZ, would dearly love to travel to Singapore but credit crunch has put paid to that option. Does anyone have any knowledge of her proposed new base in OZ, when she will be active following (we presume) an upgrade ? in Singapore. We have family in NZ who travel to OZ and would love to try her out, and would UK passengers be given the chance of fly/cruise? OV passenger capacity is about right for us do not fancy the gi-normous ships, let's hope Carnival hasn't dismissed UK passengers who favour smaller ships. She'll be named Pacific Pearl sailing from Auckland during the hight of their summer (Nov, Dec, Jan) and the rest of the year from Sydney.

You can book P&O Australia through UK cruise agets and I presume the style will be very similar to OV

We had thought about giving her a go when we visit my sister in law in New Zealand but we'd have to hop over to Sydney rather than sail straight from Auckland as we'd be going in August 2013
