Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I did smile at " if the chips are down" that does happen playing tournament poker, but for myself the happy genes keep me smiling.
3 sleeps to Christmas
I hope everyone's preparations are going well and its going to be a good one for you all.

Hello
Just to introduce myself: Pam, not really a newbie cruiser, but new to the forum

Stevedore and deerwoman - a very warm welcome to you both. How lovely that you both have cruise experience and can probably leap in straight away to help others enjoyed theirs.
Stevedore - my apologies for you finding the 'Welcome Mat' a little dusty when you popped in - I forgot to pay the weekly cabin steward so I think they went on strike.....or it could be ---- whilst the cats away etc!
I have now given it a good shake and knocked it about a bit and laid it back down.
I look forward to 'chatting' with you again from time to time - on whatever topic takes your fancy.

Sandie!
I'll second your welcome. I dont think I would have dared to post at all if the forum had been like it is at the moment.
Things can only get better.... or can they? Lets hope so.

Hello!
The Hubby and I are taking our first trip to the Caribbean, kind of like a very late deluxe honey moon. The cruise ship has a library, which immediately endeared me to it, whereas he is looking forward to sitting on the outdoor bar stools all evening. I really can't wait to try it. We're set to go in April, so I'm beginning to sweat over sufficient visa and whatnot.
Hope to find some info and nice conversation here
