Yes the old chestnut, I go a cruise to see different parts of the world, some we see more than once, meet some nice people and if it comes to the day I will decide on the basis of who has the cheapest drink prices then I think it would be time to take that little blue pill. Most ships we travel on are 4 or 5 star and the prices here in an equivalent hotel are considerable higher, so life is to short to worry about the price of beer or spirits. :D
Drinks are on you then Bill!
I imagine that when someone works out the most commonly asked questions on this site, 'What is the price of drinks?' will be near the top of the list closely followed by, 'Can I take alcohol on board?'
Is alcohol more of a 'need' than a 'want' for some people?
I am quite sure that some people spoil there trips because for them it is all about the price and in everything they do they are looking for the cheapest option and if they can't get the price they think is right then all they do is moan about it.When you think how expensive some cruises are it seems strange to me to be worrying about the price of a drink. Cruising is about the exerience not the price of drinks.
.
They can charge £9.95 for a bottle of Becks for all I care - the price of a drink is not a factor in choosing our cruise, if I can afford a cruise, the little matter of drinks prices is insignificant. It occurs to me that to much emphasis is placed on the cost of drinks.
