I hope she gets it, how fantastic, i applied to work on some cruise ships after leaving school many moons ago, but was told i was to young and to re-apply when i was 18. By then i'd met my future husband and obviously didn't want to leave him so didn't. I've often wondered how things might have been different if i hadn't met him. (Bless him i don't hold it against him we're still together so he must have been the right one!!)

Sorry to hear she didn't get the job Issyalex, as you say their 'loss'. With a new boyfriend, she'll be probably be happier finding something closer to home!

Sorry to hear that, Issy. It would have been agreat experience for her. However, there are always lots of other great experiences to be had in life and I am sure she will have her share. At least you won't be wondering or worrying about all those beneath decks shenanigans!
