My only regret is that they don't have a casino onboard any of their ships ~ If they did even I would be saving up to pay their inflated prices as the ships look like old time cruise liners rather than the gargantuans of today! that & I think my daughter would be in heaven ~ Do you think we'd get a discount as her name is Aurora?
You need to knock three times on the wall panel at the back of the dinning room the casino door will then open

Now that is "Disney magic" :D :D :D

Bet the bar staff that if they line up 5 pints of lager that I can drink them in one If I win then they pay!!

Like the idea of knocking on the wall, do I have to say "Open Sesame" as well?

We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.

    Disney Magic in Corsica

Disney Magic followed us into Ajaccio. She really is a good looking ship. I hadn't realised that one of the 'funnels' is actual a dummy - the idea is to make her look like a real liner and I have to say it works for me.

    Hi Jill
What a beautiful, classic and traditional ship - nicer than alot of the American cruise ships about these days.
Is it correct that adults can only travel with Disney if accompanied by children? :D

I think I'm going to have to rent a grandchild to take-being as my kids are dragging their heels in that dept.

Adults can travel without children. We did the Baltic in July and none of us were children! We had just about the best holiday ever. I really ought to write a review. Disney was excellent at providing an adults only pool, where I saw no children ever and a nightclub area restricted to adults only after 9pm. The overall quality was very high, as we expected from our experience of Disney hotels. We liked the fact that you rotate around three completely different main dining rooms for dinner, taking your wait staff with you. Also the cabin bathroom is split, with the loo separate from the shower and the shower is over a mini bath which would be useful for small children.

Next summer, they are in the Med but not the Baltic and their prices are much, much lower than this year - about the same as the other mainstream cruise lines.

We have cruised with RCI, P&O, MSC and Thomson in the past and whilst they all have their pros and cons, on balance this was the best and we have booked to go again next summer! (Incidentally, soft fizzy drinks are free as are port shuttle buses.)
