    Hi,
Normally the words "Formal" and "Island escape" don't go in the same sentence.
She's quite relaxed and if it was me I wouldn't.
Looking at the brochure the Blurb for Christmas day Says "Christmas Day will be celebrated in Almeria. As you tuck into Christmas dinner on a mountain backed beach, you'll feel like a million miles from home."
Looks like you'll be more in need of shorts and a T shirt.

We're on her the week before you, around the Canaries. We'll try and leave you some turkey and mince pies :D.
Have a fantastic Christmas, I've always wanted to go away for it but Mrs. not keen.

    Pleasure,
Can't wait myself. Our lot is the wife and I and our 2 sons in their 20's.
8 weeks on Friday for us. It seems to have taken forever to get here and now it's all rush to the big day.
I was lucky to get a brochure, they seem like gold to get hold of.

Yes no doubt we will probably see each other, if you see three males and two females talking in a NE accent, that will probably be us:o

Im going on this cruise on the 18th december. have you found any pictures or anything? ive never been on a cruise, my mum and dad have, but i have not. We've spent out last 5 years in the gambia for christmas, i highly recommend that.

But the cruise is booked, and i would like to know if you have any sites or anything i could look it up on?

Hi, This is our first time away for Christmas and New Year, but about our 10th Cruise, we are hooked now, there are plenty of pictures of Island Escape on this web site, some good and some not so good

    Hi,
I posted a few pics of her from our cruise last year on Photobucket http://s727.photobucket.com/albums/ww273/Cymro1953/

I would have done more but the site was so slow uploading.
You can find some more pics in the Cruise Photos section on here.
We had a balcony cabin but inside it was the same as the others. If you are used to hotel rooms you will find ships cabins smaller on all ships unless you pay out big bucks for suites.
The ship is old but the staff are great and food was fantastic.
Many satisfied customers having been recently giving good reviews.
Many of whom have been going on her for years.
She's a good ship to start on if you've never cruised before and can decide if you like it without spending £££ on dearer lines.

You can also find more on the cruisecritic.com website in the Islands Cruises forum. I am Cymro1953 on there http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=496
