Hi Sharon

It will help if you mention which parrot park, where it is and which ship you will be on.

Have a great time.

Welcome aboard. I've never been to the park, but I spend 5mins doing a net serach for you:

"we went to Loro Park last week on a private tour bus and it only cost 30e each and that included the entrance fee. Taxis were advertising the round trip only, excluding entrance fee of 20e, at 140e. I assume the driver sits outside waiting for you as it said 6 hours which would only give you around 3 hours at the park which is not enough time to see all the shows, on the bus you get 6 hours on site.

It was an excellent day out and we thought it well worth it, actually we paid 10e each for a guided tour which took us behind the scenes of the gorilla house, penguin house, orca pool and much more.

BTW the Thompsons trip was 50e each so I thought we did OK.

(From the excellent www.tripadvisor.com)
