You are quite right Spartan have to mind our P's and Q's these days with all this politically correct business galley person it is, yep. I can make a good Pasty if I'm in the mood, but I am afraid It's just chips today!! Galley slave.

They aren't under Thomson they were only acquired by Thomson, so they still have their own little category ~Tried to read the review a moment ago but can't find it . Does anyone know why?And yes I checked all the thomsons reviews

NEVER get any complaints on my boat, If ANYONE dares to moan about ANYTHING, they swim home !!!!! If the cruise ships employed people like me as captain the whingers would soon go AWOL !!! SO WOULD THE CREW !!!! Dont complain, THROW EM OVER THE SIDE !!!I think it would be a good idea if this went legal :D. It could set precidents and perhaps the surly ones (so called reception desk mateys) would take notice when someone had a problem.
Just kidding, I am a friendly little BLIGHter really !!! KEEP ON CRUISIN !!

From a Thomsons cruiser. Island Escape is NOT to be considered a Thomsons cruise ship but was forced on them by TUI. I expect they would not want to touch it with a diamante studded bargepole!.

My wife and I sailed on the escape a year ago and we vowed never to go on it again. My wife is vegatarian and we cruise twice a year mostly with thompsons and all the cruises have been really enjoyable. However we made the mistake of cruising on this ship to find that the food for vegatarians was non existant in spite of continually requesting this type of meal. we had a chance to speak to the head chef and inform him of my wifes delimma. The chefs reply was, you are a minority but if you book another week we could probably cater for you?. we did complain on the evaluation form, perhaps they did not read this one. there were complaints of the ship being dirty but I did not see this. I did see many passengers using the toilet and not washing their hands which is our fault not the ships.

At least I am guaranteed a job for quite some time ,I believe I am in for a long haul how many points do I need for promotion? Any way it's time for a Cornish cream tea now, with saffron cake or mybe some heavy cake, and if you don't like a cream tea with scones how about Thunder and Lighting, sorry no pasties today Spartan!!! or chips!
