Topic: Island Escape drink packages

Going on Island Escape soon. What is their policy about taking alcohol on board pre cruise or at ports? Travelling with teetotaller.Are there drink packages available? Also if I bring my laptop. Is wifi available anywhere on ship and at what price?Thanks

They don't like you to take your own alcohol on. We were pretty impressed with all inclusive package which includes soft drinks as well as alcoholic ones but probably drank more than we would otherwise have done.

There is wi-fi but I think it's about 30p per minute and I'm not sure if it's available throughout the ship.

Does anyone know if you can buy an all inclusive package on board? We have booked last minute and the TA was unable yo offer an AI package

It is surprising that Thomsons run a different policy on Escape to their other ships. On the other ships you can take on your own booze but all people in your party have to pay for the all inclusive package if you decide to buy one. You can only buy the package before you board, not on the ship.

The current price per person for the drinks package is £189 per week per person So with one teetoteller I think it is not worth the money.
