Superb Seabourn Caribbean Quest!
Enjoyed every minute of our first Seabourn cruise aboard the beautiful Quest. Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. Our stewardess kept our suite spotless with a plentiful supply of toiletries. Welcome bottle of champagne on ice, ice bucket, soft drinks & water replenished every day plus our choice of single malt whisky & good brandy, fresh fruit and flowers in our suite! Knew we had made the right choice on arrival and were never disappointed......
Suite was very comfortable, bathroom spacious and well appointed (loved the separate walk-in shower) and the walk-in wardrobe made it easy to keep the living area clear.
Breakfasted in our suite most days from the wide choice available adding 'glass of champagne' some mornings and 'double expresso' every day as we don't care for American style coffee. Room service set up our table and came to clear later, always with a smile and a friendly word.
Ate dinner twice in our suite, served course by course, again with friendly courtesy ..........Absolute bliss.
Food is really important to us & the quality and variety of food in the MDR, the Colonnade & Restaurant 2 was outstanding as was the service. (Twice there were slight delays in the MDR but both were explained with apologies). The Colonnade was a good balance of buffet and table service with daily specials at breakfast & lunch and 'themed' evenings.
Bar service great and choice never ending. Patio (pool) bar served poolside constantly with frequent trips out to guests relaxing on decks 5 & 6.
Sun cream, lens wipes & cold face clothes were also brought round!
For us, ports were secondary to the on-board experience although we enjoyed San Juan and thought St Barts beautiful but expensive.
My husband did the Deep Sea Fishing at St Kitts but was not impressed by the organisation on the boat. He would have loved a pic with his catch but this was not offered. The catch was quickly stowed below. The trip didn't reflect Seabourn's high standards & was not worth the money.
The beach bbq's were also very good, especially on Isla Catalina which was really beautiful and we enjoyed the Caviar in the Surf which was a real challenge for all given the swell and undertow! Water sports were available only at Isla Catalina because of wind/sea conditions so I took advantage of kayaking in the clear turquoise water. It's a mammoth undertaking for the crew & staff to get everything ashore, served & cleared but sooooo worth it for the guests!!!
Entertainment was varied and of a high standard. 'Rock the Boat' & 'Movie Under the Stars' were particularly enjoyable.
Spa & fitness instructor would also get high marks. I enjoyed Yoga, tried Kinesis & attended a seminar and we both enjoyed a couples deep tissue massage.
Entertained new friends in our suite & were entertained in our friends' suite with fabulous prawns, caviar, cheese plate, crab caws, olives etc....
Really looking forward to repeating the whole experience sometime in the not too distant future!!!!!

Sounds absolute bliss, good to hear you had such a fabulous time.............................................. Carol
We have cruise with Sebourn three times now and area bout to go on Quest in April. I agree with the poster, once you have been on Seabounre others have a lot to match up to.
We thought that the price would be very high but if you take everything into consideration then the price is about the same as other mass market cruise lines. Don't forget that once you pay your money then evrything is included, (not the excursions)
Cannot wait till April.
