    Celebrity excursions

What's the best way to book your excursions? We will be in the Med, on the Constellation in October. Is it best to book in advance or wait until we get on board? Is there a more cost-effective option one way or the other? Any advice??

usually the price is about the same. it all depends on the exchange rate. however if you book before you cruise then you will get the trips that you want.

don't want to work, just want to cruise.

I think you will find that if you book before you cruise you will pay before you cruise as well !!!! but if you book on the cruise it goes on your account to be paid at the end ....so worth keeping that in mind.

If you book before you sail the price is in GB Stirling. Also, by using your 'cashback' credit card (Oh no, you don't have one) you get a percentage off. For those of you out there on tight budgets (not you or me, Morris), every little helps.

The most cost effective option of all is to do them yourself!

Bear in mind every taxi driver in every port knows the cruise tours by heart and depending on your haggling skills, you should be able to do it for a third of the price, and before you ask how easy is it, they will be waiting like a pack of wolves as soon as you step off the ship!
