Topic: Do you prepare?

preparing for next year's cruise? me too,must be a girlie thing.

anyway, today is "P day".
weeks of washing, ironing creases where they shouldn't be, squirrelling stuff into the spare bedroom like the squirrel that keeps nicking the peanuts i put out for the birdies...and now it's "Packing Day".
the dj's packed, the "frock" is packed, the "ohmygoodness do we really need all this stuff and what else can i cram in" panic attack was overcome with a rather nice glass of chablis.
waiting for husband to return to perform the "stepping on and off the scales" ritual once he's done his packing; razor and foam!
sorry,birdies, find your own grub for a week 'cos i'm flying off to warmer climes.

Today we completed final preparations for Ventura - I had my head shaved properly with a razor instead of the usual trimmer. I couldn't pluck up the courage for any tattoos though.

My contribution is to take care of the important stuff, like finding the snorkelling gear, charging batteries, and making sure I've got all my favourite vests.

Oh I have an MS Word document which I re-visit ahead of every cruise. It has a list of every item I took last time with a check box against each item. Right the way down to cuff links and Rennie's to help all the food go down. There has to be a bit of anorak there!

I think I am right in saying that the same Sudoko book of puzzles has been on the past 5 cruises, I must get past half way with the 4 booked this year!!!!
