Is it just me or does anyone else get cheesed off when they come across a really short review which tells the reader nothing of value?
I have just been looking at reviews of Ruby princess.
One review consists of 2 lines, gives everything 5/5 without making any comments other than great ship, great cruise and because its a fly cruise there aren't many days at sea.
The review was written 9th Feb 2010 yet the cruise took place Aug 09.
It angers me that someone can get a free guide for so little info.
It also amazes me that someone can do a review of a cruise taken 6 months ago.....mind you maybe they can't remember all the details and thats why it is so short.
That brings me to ask do you think there should be some "rules" about writing your review?
Rules could specify a timescale for writing review to ensure it is current and a minimum word count which should include comments about cabin, food, entertainment, trips, hints and tips for that ship.
At least then if you don't want to add extra comment when you rate each aspect of the cruise there is some value in the review itself.
I took a lot of time to write my first review because I thought it may help future cruisers decide if it is a ship they may want to consider in the future
Like I say....not sure if it's just me being in a bad mood tonight or if others feel the same.
