[QUOTE=dopeyngrumpy, Dewsbury, W Yorks;41049]If this forum turns beige I am off... Perhaps I should put this in my footer like the essays at the end of legal emails....

My posts may offend, educate, pontificate, prevaricate, wander, be flatulent, sleep around, steal your chocolate or do other things you don't like . I'm sorry you felt that way and I assure you if offence were intended I'd have told you so but I'm me and I do stuff and will resist any temptation to turn beige so if things I say/don't say upset you or damage your karma in any way please don't read my posts and I'll do the same for yours. If you're really upset invite me over for a beer, I'm nowhere near as offensive in the flesh and I'd be happy to share a tipple or two with any and all of you.

    You have been warned.

Fear ye not all. There are far too many of us on here that will not let it turn beige. Someone will throw a spanner in the works soon enough, upset a few people, get a heated debate going and then others will step in and keep the pot boiling.
As for inviting you for a beer, Crayford is a bit of a journey for some but let us know if you find yourself nearby and we'll see what can be arranged.

    Jill

I'm getting really worried that the forum will become totally uncontrovertial and end up being BEIGE.It's making me go Grey with worry, and now I'm seeing Red.Am I being a bit Green in thinking that some of you are Yellow. The Black moods are not helping either, but at least I get a bit of pleasure from my Blue movies,Actually I'm in the Buff, and tickled Pink that it's still possible to be Transparent an Opaque at the same time.Colourful Stan.;)
Brings to mind our Baltic trip on Ocean Majesty a few years ago. 90% of the men and a good proportion of the women wore beige trousers. We could spot our fellow cruisers in every port! I don't often wear beige (backside's too big!) Judith

I hope this forum never becomes beige. I like popping in here to have a debate with people who have actual opinions on a wide range of topics.

Whilst I hope I never give offence I fully intend to air my own opinions and perhaps even disagree with others at times without attacking anyone personally. I prefer the threads where we debate real live issues.

I wouldn't stick around for just the banter, although I like the fact there is a mix of both on here.

I've had a few segments of a chocolate orange that came in a 'Red Cross parcel' we were sent from the UK last week. There were two bars of Galaxy fruit and nut and a box of Thorntons in there as well.

The main Thorntons factory is only a few miles away from my house. I love their chocolates.

Well done to you and Bosscat, a change of topic mid stream, but a light hearted bit of chatter that did no harm - and I hasten to add, it gave me a big grin :D when I read it. It worked for me. And it was about chocolate as well. ;)

    Regards David.

Dave, It just shows how quickly this happens in posts, it's so easy to go on to another subject, and I am afraid it happen's to me quite often, maybe I get confused more easily these days.
